Crosstalk 6/2/09

Tom DeWeese is one of the nation’s leading advocates of individual liberty, free enterprise, property rights and back-to-basics education. For over thirty years he has fought against government oppression. He is the president and founder of the American Policy Center, and is the Editor in Chief of The DeWeese Report.

How did General Motors get to the point of having to file Chapter 11 bankruptcy? Tom believes it comes down to a number of factors including government regulations, the unions making demands, massive health care programs and other countries that block the sale of American autos while flooding our country with their own.

Just the category of government regulations alone is full of pitfalls, one of them being how American car manufacturing is affected by climate change policy, a policy that Tom says is the biggest political agenda in Washington.

Join Jim and Tom as they look at these variables and others that are part of the government takeover attempt to rescue the auto industry.
